As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. This position offers a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to the improvement of healthcare services across various clinics in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, physical examinations, procedures, and treatment plans, in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Record the findings of physicians or healthcare providers, along with their follow-up instructions and prescribed treatments.
  • Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation pertaining to patient requests, such as laboratory tests and medications.
  • Ensure medical records are complete, organized, and comply with all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Assist medical professionals with data entry, allowing them to focus on patient care.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to facilitate smooth and efficient patient visits.
  • Transcribe medical dictations accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient health information.
  • Communicate effectively with both patients and medical staff.


  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Documentation, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Scribe is highly preferred.
  • Excellent typing and computer skills, with proficiency in using EHR systems.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A solid understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with current technologies, including desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
  • Able to work during a graveyard shift to accommodate clinic hours and serve patients effectively.

Technical Requirement

Computer Hardware:

  • Windows Computer (Desktop or laptop) no MAC Computer
  • At least Core Intel i5 or equivalent
  • Must have 8GB RAM (16GB is preferred)
  • Must have at least 30GB of free disk space available
  • Dual Screen Display Monitor (24” wide-screen monitor)
  • One available USB port for the headset
  • One Noise canceling headset like Plantronics or Jabra

Computer Software:

  • Operating system must be Windows 10 Pro Only
  • Must have the latest Windows updates.
  • Must have an antivirus installed and updated.
  • There MUST be no Possible Unwanted Applications (PUA, Malware, or adware)

Internet Service:

  • Should have cable or fiber internet service.
  • Minimum upload speed (25mbps)
  • Minimum Download Speed (25mbps)


  • Computer must be connected via LAN at least 100MBPS.
